Beemac Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A owner-operators throughout Greater Houston, including Houston, Baytown, Pasadena, La Porte, Deer Park, Channelview and communities surrounding the Port of Houston.
There are several ways to run with us depending on what you’re looking for. We currently have local and regional flatbed freight, along with local intermodal and drayage opportunities. Some of the local work can get you back home daily, while regional flatbed is available for drivers who prefer to stay out longer and put on more miles.
If you’ve been running your own truck for a while, you already know that the type of freight you haul matters. What works for somebody who wants to be home every night probably isn’t going to work for a driver who prefers regional freight.
That’s why we’re hiring for more than one type of work in Houston.
Local Houston Freight and Home-Daily Opportunities
For drivers who want to stay closer to home, Beemac has local opportunities throughout the Greater Houston area.
That includes home-daily intermodal and drayage lanes, along with container-hauling opportunities around the Port of Houston. If you’re already familiar with Houston and the port area, you can stay in a market you know without necessarily spending several nights a week away from home.
We’re looking for drivers in Houston as well as Baytown, Pasadena, La Porte, Deer Park, Channelview and nearby communities.
Regional Flatbed Opportunities
We also have regional flatbed freight available for owner-operators who would rather get out on the road and run more miles.
Some drivers simply prefer regional work. If you’ve been hauling flatbed for a while, you know the work and you probably already have a pretty good idea of what you’re looking for when choosing a company to run with.
Beemac offers consistent running lanes and freight support, along with highly competitive owner-operator pay percentages and earning potential.
Intermodal and Drayage Near the Port of Houston
We’re also looking for experienced drivers interested in local intermodal and drayage work around the Port of Houston.
These container-hauling opportunities can make sense for someone who already knows the area and wants to stay closer to Houston. If you’ve spent time hauling containers or working around the port, we’d like to talk with you about what we currently have available.
Not every driver wants to run the same way. Some want local freight and a chance to get home every day. Others would rather run regional. The important part is finding out what’s available and whether it makes sense for the way you operate your truck.
What Matters When You Own the Truck
When you own your truck, there’s a lot more to think about than simply where the next load is going.
Sitting too long costs money. Running freight that doesn’t make sense for your operation does too. The lanes you’re running, how often you’re moving and being able to get in touch with someone when you need an answer can all make a difference.
We work with owner-operators to keep freight moving and provide the communication and support that goes along with it. We’re not going to tell you that one type of freight is right for everybody.
